JOB SUMMARY:

This position is in the Corporate Operations Group, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), and reports to Command Strategic Leadership Support Department, Strategic Operations Division (7.1.1).   The purpose of the position is to provide advice/direction, management and program analysis, and project leadership on Human Resources Management issues with the Corporate Operations Integrated Product Team. This position will also manage the internal Human Resource information system JSF has created called the Manpower Personnel System (MPS) which is used as a manpower data base similar in content and intent as People Soft.

·         Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Human Resources operations/ management within the organization.

·         Assess existing organizational conditions and determine areas of strength and risk.

·         Participate in working groups to plan and develop internal strategies to address management issues and concerns regarding improvement practices.

·         Conduct anomaly and trend analyses to recommend improvements or develop/change strategic goals.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have one or more years of progressively related experience. Examples of this experience include: Conducting business data analysis of Human Resources information to ensure compliance with regulations; Leading analytical research studies and projects to develop new and/or revised policies and programs; Consulting and advising management on Human Resources including change management, workforce transition and strategic planning; Developing and managing evaluation processes to assess the cost and business impact of human capital product and services.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • A Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal.
